Caleb became the pastor of Southwestern in April 2026 following over a decade of college and student ministry in South Carolina, Indiana, and Tennessee. His passion is to raise up followers of Jesus to share their faith and build His kingdom.
Caleb met his wife, Mollie, while attending Union University, where he ran cross country and completed an undergraduate degree in Theology with a minor in Business Management. The two were married shortly after graduating from Union, and spent their first year of marriage assisting in a church plant in SC, now Ridgewood Church in Greer. They then moved to Louisville, KY where Caleb completed his M.Div. at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, while Mollie pursued her Masters in Social Work. They moved to Northeast Tennessee in 2021, and since have been blessed with two sons. Caleb is now working on a Ph.D. in Theology for the Church through Beeson Divinity School in order to be better equipped to raise up future ministry leaders at Southwestern.
Caleb has a strong conviction that God is up to something in Johnson City and across Northeast Tennessee, and is blessed to get to be a small part of that work. He prays for God to begin raising up a new generation of kingdom-leaders and is so thankful for all that He has done in the past at Southwestern, and all that He will do in the years ahead!
